DOWNTOWN PARKING:
Throughout downtown Tampa, parking is available in various garages and lots. These
garages have a one-time special event parking rate paid upon entry. Please
reference the map below.
Please Note: Parking in the neighborhoods bordering
the parade route is not permitted and Tampa Police Department will
strictly enforce the event parking policies. Be aware, Tampa
Police Department will tow cars which will result in additional
fees and the inconvenience of having to get your car out of impound!

SHUTTLE:
The McDonalds's Children's Gasparilla Extravaganza Shuttle will operate one continuous shuttle route on January 21, 2012 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Cost is $5 per adult, children accompanied by an adult ride for free.
The shuttle will pick up at the Fort Brooke Garage, at the corner of Franklin and Whiting Street. The Whiting Street Garage will serve as overflow parking when the Fort Brooke Garage becomes full, however, bus pick-up will stay in the same location (Whiting and Franklin). The shuttle will deliver to Bayshore Boulevard, near the beginning of the parade route at Bay to Bay Blvd. and the Crosstown. The 2012 shuttle will operate continuously from downtown Tampa to Bay to Bay using the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway for express shuttle service to and from the event avoiding traffic congestion. |
